TEMPLE OF A-MA (WORLD HERITAGE)

The temple was built 400 years ago in homage to a girl who saved seamen's life. Macau was later named by the Portugese settlers in mid-16th Century. This temple has become a World Heritage in 2005.

Penha Hill

Rising 62.7 metres above sea level, Penha Hill is the third highest hill in Macao and faces Guia Hill on the Macao Peninsula. Penha Hill overlooks the Praia Grande and connects Barra Hill on the southwest with the inner harbour located on the western side. The Portuguese Consulate General (formerly The Bela Vista Hotel) sits lower down the eastern slope and the Bishop’s Palace sits on top of the hill. With many Mediterranean style villas constructed in this area, this is one of Macao’s more sought after residential zones.

MACAU TOWER

Soar to a breathtaking 223M above ground and marvel at the lounge. Gaze out over Taipa and Coloane. Look for Macau's landmarks and historical sites. Or try to spot Hong Kong 's outlying islands.

LEAL SENADO SQUARE

The 3700m2, Senado square is paved with a wave-patterned mosaic of coloured stones, created by Portuguese experts. From the main road to the church of St. Dominic, the pavement extends to the ruins of St. Paul's, making the heart of the city a pedestrian paradise.

THE RUINS OF ST. PAUL'S

This Roman Catholic Church was built in 1602 and burned by fire in 1835, Miraculously, fine carvings and statues can be seen on the surviving facade.

CASINO

Casinos in Macau offer a large variety of casino games that give versatile entertainment to visitors. Try your luck!
