The service provided by the Big Bus Company includes the provision of sightseeing tours by passenger-carrying vehicles, passenger-carrying riverboats, and guided tours on foot.

TICKET VOUCHER/E-TICKETS

 
Customer's purchasing tickets on this website will have their tickets delivered to them by way of ticket voucher/E-ticket. The Customer will need to present the ticket voucher / E-ticket's printed copy to a member of the Big Bus Company staff at the Customer's preferred boarding point.
 
TICKET REDEMPTION
 

Customers must bring the ticket voucher/E-ticket along with valid photo ID of the "Lead Traveller", whose name is printed on the ticket voucher/E-ticket. The Customer should present them to a Big Bus uniformed member of staff, at the preffered boarding point. The member of staff will exchange the ticket voucher/E-ticket for a valid ticket to travel.

The Big Bus Company reserves the right to refuse any ticket voucher/E-ticket presented without photo ID.

 
TICKET TO TRAVEL
 

The Customer should keep their ticket safe as replacements will not be issued. The Customer must show or purchase their ticket as they board. The ticket remains the property of the Big Bus Company and must be produced for inspection and, if requested to do so, be surrendered upon demand to an authorised Big Bus Company Official. The Customer will not be permitted to use any Big Bus service without a valid ticket for the entire journey the Customer wishes to make.

 
TICKET VALIDITY
 

The ticket entitles the Customer to use all Big Bus services during operational hours for 24 hours commencing at the time the Customer first boards the bus. (48 hours during some special promotional periods, please check website for further details). When the ticket expires the Customer must either leave the tour at the next available opportunity or purchase another ticket. Extensions will not be given. Tickets do not guarantee travel on a specific service or at a specific time.

 
LOST TICKETS
 
The Customer must keep their ticket safe. Customers found travelling without a valid ticket will be charged the full ticket price for a replacement ticket.
 
CHILDREN
 

Child tickets are available for Children aged from 5-15 years.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Children under 5 may travel for Free, if accompanied by a dedicated adult (1 adult :1 child) as long as the child does not occupy a seat to the exclusion of a fare-paying passenger.

 
DEPARTURE POINTS AND TIMES
 
The Big Bus Company endeavours to provide departure points and times for the service which are as accurate as possible. However, the Big Bus Company reserves the right to vary such departure points and times without notice, as circumstances require.
 
TOUR ROUTE
 
The Big Bus Company reserves the right to deviate from the route of a service in the event of marches, parades, or where reasonably prudent to do so in the light of circumstances beyond the Big Bus Company’s control.
 
BUSES AND BUS SAFETY
 

While the Big Bus Company endeavours to operate its famous open-top double-decker buses, it reserves the right to operate closed-top double-decker buses from time to time, especially in bad weather.

During busy times, seating cannot be guaranteed on either deck.

The Big Bus Company reserves the right to refuse access to travel on a particular departure should  circumstance be deemed to compromise tour safety.

For safety reasons all Customers on the upper deck are required to remain seated while the bus is in motion.

 
RIVERBOATS
 
Where sightseeing tours by riverboat are included in the tour the terms and conditions of the Riverboat Operator shall apply whilst travelling on a riverboat with any ticket issued by the Big Bus Company.
 
ACCIDENT OR LOSS
 
Please take care of all personal property. The Big Bus Company will not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to negligence by the Big Bus Company, in which case our liability is limited (except for death or personal injury) for damages to a maximum of the refund of the ticket price.
 
ALCOHOL
 
The consumption of alcohol is prohibited on the bus at all times.
